This Sunday, Alice Hawkins’ remarkable and inspiring story will be brought to life with live performance, a spectacular local choir and an incredible video projection on the historic Corn Exchange.
CODE has a real connection to Alice Hawkins’ story as Block A, Western Road used to be the Equity Shoe Works, where Alice worked, and the statue of Alice Hawkins in the market square was donated by CODE.
For all those wanting to attend the event, we have a number of FREE wristbands in the CODE office, so pop in and speak to one of our members of staff and for more information, check out the link: https://www.visitleicester.info/whats-on/always-and-always-facing-toward-the-light-p756161
