Exciting new accommodation is coming to CODE! Located in a new building at CODE Fairfax Street, our brand new 1 and 2 bedroom apartments will be available to move into from September 2026.

These offer you the chance to have a slightly more spacious student-living experience.

You can also choose from 3 different floor categories (Deluxe, Upper Deluxe, Skyline) with “City view” options for those who want a better outlook from their window.

What can you expect?

This new block comes with everything you’d expect from CODE as a standard. This includes:

• 24/7 Security and resident-only entry
• Study areas, student lounge and outdoor terrace which extends the length of the building
• En-suite bathrooms- no need to share here!
• Maintenance available 6 days a week – just log any issues you have via the student portal
• Parcel service to keep all of your packages safe even when you leave for the weekend
• Free fast broadband up to 500Mb/s
• Free belongings care to protect you from fire, flood or theft
• Choice of contracts (with and without bills)
• Option to renew your room before anyone else (we’ll give you a heads up when this is available!)

Now for what is new with these apartments…

1 Bedroom Apartment

With a full size apartment, expect a generous sized bedroom with a large en-suite with all your bathroom essentials: double shower, dual shower heads with waterfall and detachable (yes, we’re very fancy), heated handrails, toilet.

The bedroom includes full-sized double bed, a desk with your very own 32″ TV and monitor, as well as a swivel office chair, triple wardrobe and a tall shelf unit and pinboard.

There is a spacious lounge with a sofa, coffee table and 55″ TV, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen area, great for when you have friends or family round. And it includes a dishwasher! Yes, that’s right— no more washing up when you have a pile of assignments to get to, or manually washing 20 cups after a get together.

Another added bonus is a separate utility room, where you will find your own washer/dryer (say goodbye to waiting for someone’s washing to be done!) as well as an extra toilet that is great for when you have guests visiting.

2 Bedroom Apartment

Want to live with your friend but still want all of the above benefits? Imagine living with them but you get your own bathroom and your own space for when you need to study, and no arguing over washing up because you have a dishwasher… For that, we have 2 bedroom apartments available.

You will enjoy all of the luxuries of a 1 bed apartment but with 2 generous sized bedrooms and their own en-suite bathrooms.

You’ll have a large lounge and kitchen to share: a full height fridge-freezer to fit both of your groceries comfortably and a 55″ TV to binge watch shows together on the sofa and armchair (with a footstool for extra comfort). And if you want to chill on your own? No worries, you have your own 32″ TV and monitor in your bedroom.

Studios

The new block will also include a very limited number of Studios, some of these are “Accessible Studios” which means they have more space for those with mobility concerns and a “wet room”. To book one of these rooms we may ask for evidence of your mobility issues.
