As an international student preparing to study in the UK, I wasn’t quite sure what the “ideal” student accommodation looked like. It wasn’t until my third year that I discovered CODE. I first came across it while scrolling through social media, where real students were sharing their experiences in Leicester. Not long after, a friend recommended it too — which sparked my curiosity even more. The more I looked into it, the more confident I felt that CODE was the right choice for me.
Yes, the location, amenities, and inclusions are great, but what really stood out was the sense of community. CODE isn’t just about having a room to stay in, it’s about creating a space where students can connect, join events, and feel at home, even when they’re miles away from yours.
Preparing for Move-In
The move-in process so far has been a smooth experience. Reserving a room, settling payments, and asking for guidance were all met with support and quick responses. The team made everything hassle-free, which really eased my worries.
I’ve started building a checklist of things I’ll need in my room, both essentials and little comforts, and the advice I’ve received from CODE has been so helpful. Instead of stress, I feel excitement. And the way the staff share in that enthusiasm with you makes it even more special.
Looking Ahead as a Future Resident
What I’m most looking forward to isn’t just living in a new space, but experiencing the community. It’s not only about having a good location or modern facilities, it’s about the people, the atmosphere, and the connections I’ll get to build. That’s what makes CODE stand out to me, and why I’m so excited to call it home soon.
