Located in central England, Coventry is famed for its medieval Coventry Cathedral and is the 9th largest city. If you  need some inspiration as to where to go and what to do, look no further! Below are five top attractions to visit whilst living in Coventry– there’s something for everyone!

  1. FarGo Village – an artistically repurposed industrial area in Coventry City Centre that is solely created for creative, independent enterprises and like-minded visitors. You can find niche and unique retailers, artists’ studios, creative workspace, crafts, cafes, markets and entertainment spaces. Moreover, every week there are different events such as soul Sunday, vintage kilo sale or FarGo Asian fusion!

  2. Escape Reality – You and your team have an hour to escape one of their incredibly realistic rooms like “Alcatraz”, “Heist” or “Down the rabbit hole”! It’s a great way to spend time with newly made friends from Uni!

  3. The Yard – the city’s biggest LGBTQ+ venue with Karaoke every Thursday, weekly cabarets, DJs and many events such as Burlesque Dance Class! The Yard has it all: drinks, food, beer garden, pub downstairs, club upstairs, cabaret, live music and some of the best drag queens!

  4. The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum – is the perfect place to dig into Coventry’s history and discover world-class art from the natural world, and modern art to the Old Masters. What’s more! They have many different events e.g. “Coventry Banner Exhibition” or “Create and Craft café”. It’s a perfect place for Art students!

  5. The Wave – An indoor waterpark that contains everything from the exciting Wave Pool and soothing Lazy River to high-speed slides and a fun-packed splash zone. There’s something for everyone!
