CODE Students, based in Leicester and Coventry, have been once again nominated as Finalists in both the 2020 RESI Awards “Student Operator of the Year” and “Large Developer of the year” categories.
The highly prestigious RESI Awards ceremony is organised by Property Week and attracts the very best that the industry has to offer. Under normal circumstances the awards usually held at Grosvenor House, however this year, due to Coronavirus the awards ceremony will be online.
Throughout the years CODE has continued to build on their offering in terms of the student experience and this has been reflected by students voting CODE winners of the National Student Housing Survey 2019. The Judges praised the industry leading Net Promotor Scores and high renewal rates as testimony to the excellent levels of customer satisfaction and the strong growth story.
This nomination continues the recognition for the work of CODE who are proud to have won over 30 awards and commendations. Other more local accolades include winning the coveted Leicester Civic Society Award for regenerating the listed 19th Century Great Central Railway, the saving from demolition Gimson Villas on Glenfield Road and the restoration of the historic Equity Shoe Works where suffragette Alice Hawkins worked for many years. All these developments were recognised for making a significant contribution to preserving Leicester’s heritage buildings whilst providing high quality accommodation helping attract students to De Montfort University.
Good luck to everyone who has been named as a finalist, we look forward to the results ceremony on Wednesday 2nd December.
