Valentine’s Day has become a global event celebrated by many different cultures throughout the world but remains dedicated to friendship. At CODE we were delighted to host 2 different social events at both our Coventry & Leicester sites which invited along a fantastically diverse mix of students.
Our Coventry office was transformed for Valentines day with decorations, Prosecco and themed cupcakes. Each of our 2018/19 tenants were entered into a prize draw to win gift vouchers from some of our student’s favourite retailers and restaurants including Nandos, Zizzi’s, Nike, Adidas, Asos, Pretty Little Thing, JD and many more! Winners were picked at random and were able to collect their prize from the CODE office and many other students made the most of the free treats on offer too!
Our Leicester site worked with the DMU International, Psychology and LGBT Societies with the Korean society and Demon Barbers Quartet helping with entertainment and the Cocktail Society kept the fun flowing with a wonderful array of cocktails! Our friends at Papa Johns ensured that our guests were not left hungry with Pizzas’s galore!
Valentines Day can often be an awkward day, however for the crowd at CODE in Leicester it was an opportunity to get together and try your hand at Cookie Decorating, taking part in the Quiz, Bingo and Raffle and winning Ted our giant Bear!
