CODE played host to a fabulous Chinese New Year Party at Western Road so our Chinese residents and their friends could welcome The Year of the Rooster in style.
Our own Chinese interns organised the event and made sure we kept to authentic themes and tradition. The party started with everybody being shown how to sign their name in Chinese calligraphy and this was quickly followed by how to make traditional Chinese Dumplings which proved a delicious treat to all in attendance. Lucky Red Envelopes were in abundance and our CODE photographer was on hand to capture all the winning smiles.
Not only was it great to see a traditional Chinese celebration but it was also warming to see the occasion embraced by so many other students with different nationalities making it one of our favourite events in the calendar.
